We have put the following systems in place to create a safe classroom environment:
ADRIA access is from inside Millbourne Mall and masks are required in the mall and food court areas.
We are located on the second floor. We recommend students take the stairs rather than the elevator if possible.
We have hand sanitizer available at the entrance to our classroom – students are required to sanitize their hands when they enter.
Students have their own table and chair spaced 2 meters apart. These are labeled and students are asked not to touch anyone else’s space and to remain 2 meters apart. Students are expected to stay in their designated spaces when in the class area.
Masks are required as per Provincial or Municipal guidelines. You may remove your mask while seated at your own table, but must wear your mask at all other times.
For breakout exercises (groups of 2, 3 or 4), students are required to take their chairs to their designated area. The areas are marked to allow for 2 meter spacing. Face masks are required for breakout exercises. You may want bring a clipboard to make it easier for you to take notes when you are in breakout space.
The hallways and other walkways are one-way. Students are asked to follow the directions provided.
Only one person is allowed in the washroom at a time.
We are unable to provide a coffee station. You are asked to bring your own food and beverages. The food court on the main floor is open and there is a Tim Horton’s in the parking lot that will be open. Students may bring their own lunch and eat at their table. A fridge and microwave are available in the classroom, you are asked to use sanitizer or wash your hands if using these. There is outdoor space with limited picnic tables but you could bring a blanket and sit in the park which is across the street.
Washrooms and class space are cleaned at the end of each day.
Students are asked to self-screen prior to each class each and are expected not to attend class if they are feeling unwell.
Guidelines will reviewed and edited subject to changes in provincial regulations.
