It was 10 years ago that I began my learning journey towards a certificate in conflict leadership through the Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society which is now ADRIA. I started with courses in communication and this prepared me for what became my ongoing learning and work in the field of conflict management. My focus is on workplace conflict in both public and private industry as well as with faith groups as a mediator, facilitator, coach and trainer.
When I am not putting my energy into my work as a practitioner, I am finding ways to be in Edmonton’s beautiful river valley. My most listened to podcast is Hidden Brain from NPR. I look forward to supporting your learning and learning from you. -Anita Veldhuisen Slomp
