ADRIA seeks an experienced and engaged ADR Practitioner to join its professional office team on a part-time basis to assist in ADRIA’s interactions with members, business interests and the public. This opportunity involves an average of 15-20 hours per week (or more, over time), Although an Edmonton presence would be ideal, the duties could be performed from home or remotely.
There will be opportunities for advancement, training, growth and professional development. The preferred candidate practices ADR as an integral part of his or her professional practice, and ideally holds an ADRIC national designation. The selected candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, proven ability to work within a team environment, the capacity to network and build connections, and be willing to learn more about ADR and its many sector applications.
Duties are negotiable, but would involve working alongside others to advance ADRIA’s policies and practices at they pertain to Public Inquiries, Complaints, Designation applications, Online Directory applications, Managing Member expectations, Volunteer Management, Roster Administration, and ADR Business Services. There would also be committee work (both national and provincial), conference and event planning, government relations, ADR advocacy, communication outreach and representational duties. One thing we can promise: no two days will be alike. The selected candidate must be able to work independently, organize, prioritize, seek advice, learn quickly, track and be accountable for assigned tasks.
